I earned my degree in Advertising Design from Stephen F. Austin State University, and my time there was truly invaluable. I had the privilege of learning from some amazing professors who not only enhanced my design skills but also taught me about the business side of art, advertising, and marketing. SFASU fostered both my creativity and practical understanding, and I consider the education I received there—especially in painting and the business aspects of art—to be among the best in the field. I look back on my time there with great appreciation for the experiences and connections I made.
I began my design education at the renowned Department of Art at Texas A&M University-Commerce, where I discovered my true passion for design. The faculty were more than just instructors—they were mentors who sparked my creativity and continually pushed me to grow as an artist. Their unwavering dedication and expertise provided the foundation for my approach to design, and their influence continues to shape my work today. Although I didn’t complete my degree at TAMUC, the lessons I learned there, both during the good times and through challenges, have stayed with me. They weren’t all easy, but they were instrumental in shaping who I am as a designer and person. I know that I can still reach out to these mentors for guidance and support, which speaks to their lasting impact on my personal and professional journey. TAMUC will remain at the core of my design experience, and I will forever appreciate the lessons I learned there.

I earned my degree in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, an institution that left a lasting impact on my personal and professional journey. The university provided an exceptional environment with knowledgeable and dedicated professors deeply committed to their students' success. My studies there equipped me with critical insights and skills, which set me on a path toward a career in the United States Navy and potentially a future in federal service. However, as my career evolved, life took me in a different direction, as reflected in my diverse professional experiences. Nonetheless, my education at A&M Corpus Christi remains a strong foundation for my personal and career development.
